12. INSTALLING THE LIGHT KIT

4. While holding the light kit assembly under

your ceiling fan, push the square wire

connectors together. One from the fan and

one from the light fixture.

NOTE: These connectors are color coded and

will ONLY engage when the colored strips are

matched (aligned).

5. Carefully push all the wires into the switch

housing on the light kit assembly.

Attach the light kit assembly to the mounting

plate with the three screws provided. Make

use each screw is tight. (Fig. 17)

13. INSTALLING THE LIGHT BULBS &

GLASS SHADE

1. Install 2, 13W compact fluorescent bulbs to

the light kit. (Fig. 18)

2. Loosen each of the four glass shade

retaining screws inside the top edge of the

light fixture.

Raise the glass shade up into the light fixture.

While holding the glass shade, tighten each of

the four retaining screws. DO NOT

overtighten. (Fig. 18)

3. Feed each beaded pull chain (one from the

switch housing and one from the light fixture)

through the chain guide holes at opposite

sides of the light fixture.

Attach a pull chain fob to each pull chain.
